Welcome to Holly Tree House. Based at the heart of one of the most beautiful locations in the UK, Holly Tree is perched on the bank of the River Wye, in the Herefordshire village of Symonds Yat.
A warm enchanted country retreat wrapped in the magic and adventure of the wye valley.
Holly Tree had a complete makeover in 2023 which included a brand-new kitchen, red-hot heating system and soft new beds.
The house is handsomely presented throughout and has a lovely, warm, friendly and cultured atmosphere. The views from all the principal rooms are superb and look down upon this idyllic sweep of river.

The house is arranged over three floors, with 9 individually styled bedrooms, 6 ensuite and 2 family bathrooms.
2 sitting rooms, Tv room and a boot room make up the body of the ground floor fed by the heart of the house, the kitchen. A large dining room has doors which open out to a large dining patio with a BBQ.
A considerable games room has been added complete with pool table, table football and a 46’ screen ensuring the young of all ages have somewhere to play.
The house is approached through its long drive, which provides the property’s privacy and has space for 8 vehicles. There is balcony decking with stunning views to Yat rock.
There are paths leading from the house down to the river and to secret beaches where there's an abundance of activities on offer: from fishing and canoeing to simply sitting with a book and taking in the secluded beauty. The dense woodland to the right of the house is a haven for wildlife with natural tracks through the woodland which include a bluebell wood and a level area with timber table and benches.
